In Tests, Anil Kumble holds the record for having taken the highest-ever number of wickets in an inning with 10/74 against Pakistan in 1999 at Delhi. He is also one of the best bowlers of all time in the world. He was also awarded Man of the Match for his performance that day. Not far behind is former bowler Zaheer Khan, who took a remarkable 8/86 against rivals Pakistan in 2003 at Centurion.

Jasprit Bumrah has the best strike rate among Indian bowlers who have taken more than 50 ODI wickets. He averages a remarkable 18.8 runs per wicket, having taken 65 wickets in just 41 matches! Mohammed Shami also achieved success, taking 47 wickets in 28 matches at an average of 21.7 runs per wicket.

He paced England’s top order as the visitors were bowled out for 268. On a fast-scoring pitch, the total didn’t look like it was enough, but India beat it with just two wickets down in the 41st over.
